The Secret… Of My Disappeared Tools

Do you know that famous book “The Secret”? You know, that bestseller about manifestation that millions of people swear by. The idea is simple: focus on what you want and the universe delivers it to you. Well… sometimes you get exactly what you need, but not quite in the way you expected.

There you are at the hardware store, staring at a perfect tool set on sale. Exactly what you need, because your jigsaw is on its last legs. But no, you’re sensible and decide: “I don’t really need it, I’ll skip this offer.”

That same evening, there’s a break-in at the building where some of your tools are stored because you have some work to do in the coming days. What gets stolen? Yes indeed, all your tools including your jigsaw.

Fortunately, the thieves are caught and most of the tools are recovered. Well, most of them, not the jigsaw. So back to the hardware store to buy a new jigsaw on sale…
